Our cover contributor for this month is Rémi Bergougnoux, who walks us through his choice of Fujifilm gear for landscape photography, sharing with us his reasons for his choices and some alternative options to consider.

Next up is Take Kayo, who brings us his latest instalment of Take’s Corner, where he looks forward to the next Fujifilm X Summit due to be held on 16th May 2024 in Sydney and discusses some of the possibilities of what we might see announced by Fujifilm on the day.

Catherine Régnier delivers this month’s photo essay entitled ‘Magic Hats’, which gives us a magical and ethereal look into the world of mushrooms. Meanwhile, Jonathan Walker explains how the Fujifilm X Series has changed his way of shooting, enabling him to capture cinematic slices of everyday life.

As usual, we also have our monthly ‘From the Feed’ feature, where we’re sharing four popular images from #myfujilove on Instagram, posted by Max Kastelyn, Dustin Pattison, Thomas Brenner and Osan Bilgi

In our FujiLove interview for this month, Dawn Eagleton is chatting to Stephanie Baxter about how her creativity was always encouraged by her parents, how this translated into becoming a photographer and some advice for overcoming fear when it comes to taking pictures of strangers on the streets. Continuing his article series, ‘The Growing Pains of Photography’, Ibarionex Perello takes us with him as he sets off through his home city of Los Angeles on foot, finding beauty to photograph in unexpected places.

We’re also thrilled to bring you our ‘Gear Talk’ section of FujiLove Magazine, starting with Rico Pfirstinger, who continues his article series all about how to expose correctly. Next up, Piet Van den Eynde walks us through what to expect from the newly released Topaz Photo AI 2.4, while Bobbi Lane takes us back to Venice for the carnival, this time sharing with us how she used low-key lighting and balanced the ambient light to get some stunning portraits of some of the Venice Carnival goers. Rounding off this month’s issue is Dylan Goldby who discuss the hidden benefits of utilising Fujifilm’s black and white film simulations.

Happy reading!
