This month, Take Kayo kicks us off with his latest instalment of Take’s Corner, where he reflects on the recent Fujifilm X Summit where the X100VI was announced and gives us his first impressions of the specs of this new camera.

Rafael Malvar takes us behind the scenes of a portrait shoot on the Costa de Prata, Portugal, where his main lens of choice was the XF35mmF1.4. Meanwhile, Peter-Paul de Meijer brings us this month’s photo essay entitled ‘Vastland’, which beautifully captures the essence of New Zealand’s rugged landscape. Next up is Nathalie Boucry, who is helping us to unlock our creativity with five underrated features of the X Series to create shots straight out of the camera.

As usual, we also have our monthly ‘From the Feed’ feature, where we’re sharing four popular images from #myfujilove on Instagram, posted by Othello Elvira Cacatian, Bruno Trematore, James Oliveira and Jean-François Dary Colonna

In our FujiLove interview for this month, Thomas Hamill is chatting to Stephanie Baxter about his move from the U.K. to New Zealand, the exhilaration of his varied photography work and how becoming a father for the first time has stretched his creative capacity. Continuing his article series, ‘The Growing Pains of Photography’, Ibarionex Perello shares how taking 15-minute breaks to go out and shoot personal work contrasts with the slow photography he undertakes daily during his day job as Special Projects Photographer at the Huntington Library, Museum and Botanical Gardens.

We’re also thrilled to bring you our ‘Gear Talk’ section of FujiLove Magazine, starting with Rico Pfirstinger, who continues his article series all about how to expose correctly. Next up, Piet Van den Eynde continues his deep dive into the Tone Curve tool in Lightroom, while Lee Varis walks us through how to take a soft and warm portrait and turn it grungy! Rounding off the issue is Dylan Goldby, who walks us through some best practices when it comes to cleaning your cameras and lenses.

Happy reading!
