Whenever I’m on a business trip, I try and sneak in a couple of opportunities to take some photos of the local hotspots. In the past, this was a bit tricky to do when I had to lug around big DSLR cameras and all the various lenses you needed. With the FujiFilm X-T10, this whole process got a lot easier. With a small bag by my side, I managed to fit everything I needed to take pictures without having to break my back.

You’ve probably heard of how beautiful Cape Town is and how it is a must-go destination for photographers. I soon found out that people weren’t exaggerating about this. Cape town has everything from tall mountains to beautiful rivers and lakes. You could climb Table Mountain in the morning and sip coffee at a cafe on Long Street a few hours later, all while always having things to take pictures of. It also helps when the people are very friendly and actually recommend places to you to get a great picture. That always helps.
Besides the size and portability, what I also found impressive with the X-T10 is how it makes colors pop. Greens seem a bit darker, blue seems a bit deeper, and the reds seem a bit more vibrant. This makes capturing things like sunrises, sunsets, storm clouds etc a lot of fun.
Overall, Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities I’ve ever been to. If you’re someone who loves photography and loves traveling, then make sure Cape Town is on your list of places to see.
