I would like to thank everyone who participated in the “WIN A BAG” FujiLove Photography Contest. We received many great submissions and it wasn’t easy at all to choose the winning images. But as difficult as it was, we had no choice and we had to choose three, and only three winners. And here they are!
READERS’ PRIZE
The following photograph by Devin Johnston-Lee received the highest amount of likes in the FujiLove Readers’ Group:
Devin took this photograph with his X-T1 and the XF 10-24mm lens. “This was my first trip out with the XF10-24mm on my X-T1. Due to travel weight restrictions my computer didn’t make the final pack out. It wasn’t until I was back in Thailand that I found what I captured! The incense smoke and late afternoon light was not missed by the X-T1.”
Congratulations, Devin!!!
TOMASH PRIZE
My own personal favourite is this photograph by Douglas McBride taken with the X-E1 and the XF 18mm f/2 lens at La Roche Sur Yon in Brittany.
I love this image. The task I gave you all in this first FujiLove contest was to convince me with one single photograph to visit your place. I love Douglas’ approach: this image makes me extremely curious. It makes me want to go and visit his place just to find out what is there, on the other side of this wet window. After adding a great composition and sublime monochromatic tones I consider this photograph one of the best images I have seen recently on the internet. My sincere congratulations, Douglas!
FUJIFILM SWITZERLAND PRIZE
And finally, the favourite photograph of Fujifilm Switzerland – the sponsor of this contest – is this image by Mouhamad Tlebzu taken with the X-E2 and the XF 10-24mm lens.
Mouhamad took this photograph in Al Bastakyia, the old heritage area in Dubai. Congratulations, Mouhamad!
Once more, thanks so much everyone for participating in the contest! And congratulations to every single one of you. There were so many great photographs. It is really amazing to see how many great photographers are out there, among you – the FujiLove Readers.
And finally… THE BAG. Many of you asked if and where would it be possible to purchase the TRAVEL SHOOTER FUJIFILM LEATHER X-BAG.
We have 15 bags available for sale NOW.
The price of the bag is 299 CHF (Swiss Francs) and you can order one by filling up the form at the bottom of this post. First come, first serve: the first 15 people will be able to purchase the bag. Just fill up the form below and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
The Travel Shooter Fujifilm X-Bag is a real photo bag – that was the main idea behind creating this bag. Thanks to the removable pouches you you can also use it for different purposes, for your video equipment, or just as a standard travel bag, if you would need so. It has a big top opening, but it’s really well protected through a special top-cover. You can reach your photography equipment really quickly and there is enough place for two Fujifilm X camera bodies (I tested it with my X-T1 + XF 56mm f/1.2 AND X-E2 + XF 35mm f/1.4) OR one camera body + 1-2 lenses.
Now, there is one more thing!!
After purchasing the bag you will be able to order (free of charge!) a personalised leather badge with your own name (!), which you can attach to your bag under the front cover. You will really have your own, personal Fuji X camera bag!
