Our cover contributor for this month is João Carlos, who walks us through a recent shoot he did with the GFX100S to capture the beautiful connection between dance and nature. He explains why this camera  was the best choice for such a project and takes us behind-the-scenes of how the images were captured.

Take Kayo brings us his latest instalment of Take’s Corner, where he walks us through the exciting product announcements from Fujifilm at last week’s X Summit. Caden Browning, meanwhile, takes us into the world of skateboarding and a long-term project he’s embarked upon photographing a group of dads at the local skate park.  Next up is Michael Chinnici, who shares with us what has kept him returning to Cuba again and again, and how he has turned his ‘Vanishing Cuba’ project into a book.

Our first interview for this month is with Will O’Hare, who shares with us how his work as a theatre director has impacted his photography, as well as how he first came to start using the Fujifilm X system. Next up is our monthly ‘From the Feed’ feature, where we’re sharing four popular images from #myfujilove on Instagram, posted by Simone Mottola, Gabriel Brame, Jack Hewett and Jason Kovach. For our second interview this month, we’re chatting to Maggie Huang about her limited time window for her street photography, the challenges of a 24-hour photography project and the differences between how she shoots at home and on the streets.

Continuing her series on easy portraits is Jessica Wikström, where this month she gives us her top tips on creating connections with clients during a shoot, while Joe D’Agostino explores how he sees growth in his own photography for the latest instalment of his series on learning to see.
